Киношита (Kinoshita) Такахиро (Takahiro)

Takahiro Kinoshita, MD, PhD, FACS

Dr. Takahiro Kinoshita was born in 1969, in Kanazawa, was given the MD degree after graduation from Kanazawa University in 1994, as well as the PhD degree in 1999. He belonged to Department of Surgery I, and was trained to be an experienced gastrointestinal surgeon. From 2001 and 2002, he worked in Eberhard-Karls University of Tuebingen Hospital (Germany) as a scholarship-holder from German Academic Exchange Service to master advanced technique of endoscopic surgery under direction of Prof. Gerhard Buess. After coming back in Japan, he worked as a surgical staff of Toho University Hospital, and experienced many operations of laparoscopic surgery for gastrointestinal diseases. From 2010, he has worked in National Cancer Center Hospital East Japan (Chiba) as a staff of Gastric Surgery Division, and was assigned to be a chief director in 2012. His specialty is gastric surgery and surgical oncology, and has a lot of experiences of laparoscopic gastrectomy and robotic gastrectomy. He is authorized surgeons of Japan Surgical Society, The Japanese Society of Gastrointestinal Surgery, Japan Society for Endoscopic Surgery, and Fellowship of American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is a core member of the stomach cancer group of Japan Clinical Oncology Group (JCOG). His clinical and academic activities have remarkable influences to not only in Japan but also in the world.
